OUR AMAZING STAFF
After noticing a lack of quality early learning programs in the community, Tara Stivers and her husband Jon, opened The Country Playhouse Learning Center back in 2006 to serve students ages 4 weeks to 5 years of age. Later, as the community grew, so did the need for quality school age programs, and in 2012, The Country Playhouse Club opened it's doors. We have been blessed with being able to fill a much needed void in the community for the past 10 years, and look forward to many more years of educating the amazing youth in our great city of Enumclaw and the surrounding cities of the plateau.
READY FOR YOUR NEXT ADVENTURE?
With more than 18 years experience working in the Education field, with children of all ages, our owner Tara Stivers knows the importance of quality care and education. Tara has been a before and after school teacher, a Preschool teacher, a 1st and 2nd grade teacher, and currently holds the position as the Owner and Director of The Country Playhouse Learning Center and The Country Playhouse Club.
With her extensive experience, training, and Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education, Tara has been able to operate a successful and respectable business in Enumclaw for the past 10 years. Her centers have maintained an impeccable record with the Department of Early Learning, and have gained a well respected reputation within the community as evidenced by being awarded the Best Preschool/Daycare on the Plateau for numerous years in a row.
Tara and her staff appreciate and encourage community support, and the importance of supporting small businesses and community services. As part of her passion for creating a place for children to thrive, she and her staff encourage the children to look beyond their own needs by extending a helping hand to others in the community. Just some of the ways our students and staff have been able to give back to our community has been by reaching out to families in need by supplying much needed holiday meals, holding annual food drives and delivering over 300 food items to the local food bank, raising funds for local charities, collecting donations to make Homeless Care Kits, and much more. These activities create a sense of pride and ownership in our community, fostering compassion, empathy, and the importance of helping our neighbors, especially those in need.
THE STAFF AT The Country Playhouse Club ARE UNITED IN THEIR BELIEF THAT CHILDREN of all ages deserve the best possible start to a happy and healthy future.
At The Country Playhouse Club, we recognize the growing physical, social, emotional and intellectual needs of an increasingly independent school-age child. Our year-round before and after school enrichment program offers enhanced learning opportunities in a safe, engaging and supportive environment where students are encouraged to develop life-long friendships and have fun exploring the world around them through hands-on experiences.
We want our children to grow up with the knowledge that they can make a positive difference in their life, as well as in the lives of others around them. To do this, we need to work as a team. This means that our program will work with the parents in projecting the most positive influence possible.
When a child is surrounded by positivity, they have little time to focus on negativity.
